Johnson & Johnson was formed in 1989 when the proprietor, D.A. (Tony) Johnson decided that he wanted to provide a quality and bespoke service to solicitors who required the specialist help and advice needed to steer them through the arcane and complex maze that was then, and remains to this day, the world of detailed Bill preparation, Assessment proceedings and Costs negotiation.

In those early days other assistance was provided, such as process serving, this led to the firm's semi-official motto of "Services to Lawyers"

This summed up then, as it does now, the working ethos of the firm which has driven expansion and development over the years that eventually led to the setting up of an Exeter office in 2002, and its need to move to larger offices in 2005.

The firm now concentrates on what it has always done best providing legal services and support to its Clients in their dealings with all aspects of costs claims and proceedings to include representation of Defendants, Insurance firms and other parties liable for costs. 

From experience it is clear that Johnson & Johnson has earned the respect of the Judiciary, Solicitors and other professionals, to include opponents within detailed assessment proceedings.
